Choc Nutty Protein Balls

A delicious treat or everyday snack! A combination of pecans, dates and my personal favorite cacao powder!



Recipe Below ~ Serves: 30 balls

Ingredients:

~ 1 and a 1/2 cups of pecans ~ 1 and a 1/2 cups of pitted dates ~ 4 tablespoons of cacao powder ~ 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract ~ 2 tablespoons of honey ~ 2 tablespoons of chia seeds

Note: You may add desiccated coconut if you want for a touch of coconut taste 🥥



Method:

1. Place all ingredients (in order) into a food processor.

2. Blitz for about 1 minute until combined. If the mixture is not blending well, add a dash of unsweetened almond milk. 3. The mixture will be sticky. Place in fridge for 30 mins. 4. Spoon mixture into hands and roll into balls, coat with desiccated coconut. Other coatings: You may also like to coat them in hemp seeds, almond meal, chia seeds or cacao nibs.
