SALTED CARAMEL PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN BARS

These are so so good and the whole fam loved them! Perfect for a pre or post workout snack or even just a snack! Made using @mayversfood peanut butter and @amazoniaco salted caramel coconut paleo protein powder!!! 200 calories per bar.

Ingredients:

~ 2 cups of rolled oats

~ 1/2 cup of quinoa flakes

~ 1 cup of @mayversfood smooth peanut butter

~ 1/2 cup of pure maple syrup or rice malt syrup

~1/2 cup of @amazoniaco salted caramel coconut paleo protein powder

~ 1/4 cup of water


Method:

1️. Line an 8x8 baking dish with baking paper and grease with coconut oil.

2️. Mix together the oats, quinoa flakes and protein powder in a bowl.

3️. In another bowl mix together the peanut butter and maple syrup and place in the microwave for 30 seconds, mix again and it should be runnier.

4️. Add the peanut butter mixture to the dry ingredients and mix. Add in the water and mix again.

5️. Scoop into the lines baking soy and press down the mixture so it’s firm.

6️. Place into the freezer for 2 hours, then take out and cut into 12 bars. Store in the freezer!
